Why Digital Product Passports?

The EU’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) requires all textile and apparel products sold within the EU to carry a scannable Digital Product Passport by 2027. These passports must disclose:
  • Material composition and recycled content percentages
  • Supply chain facility locations (assembly, dyeing, yarn spinning)
  • Chemical safety status (PFAS, REACH)
  • Industry certifications (GOTS, GRS, OEKO-TEX, bluesign)
