Under the EU ESPR and French AGEC frameworks, you must disclose the exact material breakdown of your garments:- Percentages: Specify exact fabric weights (e.g., 80% Recycled Polyester, 20% Elastane).
- Material Types: Classify materials as Natural, Synthetic, or Recycled.
- Recycled Content: Explicitly declare the post-consumer or pre-consumer recycled percentage, which will display as a key trust badge on public passports.
2. Chemical Safety & PFAS Disclosures
Outdoor apparel is subject to strict chemical regulations regarding Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) and heavy metals:- PFAS Status: Declare whether your product is “PFAS-Free” or “Contains PFAS” (e.g., in water-resistant DWR coatings).
- Laboratory Uploads: Upload certified laboratory reports (e.g., total fluorine test results) as proof of chemical safety. Verification documents are securely archived and visible in the public passport.
3. Certifications
Attach industry certifications directly to your products:- Supported Standards: Upload credentials for Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Global Recycled Standard (GRS), OEKO-TEX Standard 100, bluesign, or Responsible Down Standard (RDS).
