How to Access Sam

Sam is available anywhere in your Passr dashboard to match your workflow:
Open Sam from any screen without losing your place:
  • Press ⌘J on Mac or Ctrl+J on Windows / Linux
  • Or click the floating Ask Sam badge in the bottom-right corner of your dashboard
Sam automatically understands the page you’re currently viewing (e.g. your Compliance Locker, QR Generator, or Product Catalog) and tailors answers to your current context.
Seamless Switching: If you start a conversation in the quick slide-out panel and want more space, click the Maximize icon in the header to expand it into the full workspace without losing your chat.

Sam understands natural language. Here are some real-world workflows you can run right away:

1. Audit Your Catalog for EU Compliance

Instead of checking every SKU manually across spreadsheets, ask Sam:
“Audit our full catalog and show me which products are missing PFAS declarations or recycled content documentation.”
Sam evaluates your entire catalog, calculates your brand’s overall compliance score, and gives you a prioritized checklist of what needs attention before shipping to the EU.

2. Add or Update Products

Safety and data accuracy are built into Sam. Sam will never silently change your catalog, delete items, or send emails without your explicit sign-off. When you ask Sam to perform an action (like adding a product, updating a SKU, or inviting a colleague):

Sam shows a clear summary card displaying the exact details that will be created or modified.

You review the details

Check the product name, SKU, category, or recipient details right inside the chat.

Approve or cancel with one click

  • Click [ Approve & Execute ] to save the changes to your workspace immediately.
  • Click [ Cancel ] to dismiss the proposal without making any changes.
Once approved, Sam provides a direct link to view the newly created product, supplier request, or setting in your dashboard.

Team Permissions & Data Privacy

  • Your Brand Data Stays Yours: Sam only accesses information within your brand workspace. Data is strictly isolated and never shared across brands.
  • Role-Based Protection:
    • Viewers: Can chat with Sam, run compliance checks, and explore regulations. They cannot execute changes to your catalog or invite users.
    • Editors: Can draft and approve product catalog additions, attribute updates, and supplier document requests.
    • Admins: Have full access, including team member invitations.
