Quickstart

This guide walks you through getting your first Digital Product Passport (DPP) live and scannable in under 30 minutes.

Step 1 — Create Your Brand Workspace

After signing up at app.passr.eu, you’ll be guided through a short onboarding wizard:
  1. Enter your brand name and country of origin
  2. Upload your brand logo (displayed on all public passport pages)
  3. Optionally add your EU VAT number for regulatory attribution
  4. Select your role (e.g. Sustainability Manager, Compliance Officer, Founder)
Your workspace is automatically provisioned with Admin access so you can immediately start adding products and inviting team members.
Your brand workspace is ready when you land on the main Dashboard.

Step 2 — Add Your First Product

Navigate to Products in the sidebar and click Add Product:
Don’t have GTINs yet? You can save the product as a Draft and add the GTIN later before publishing. The QR code and public passport are only activated once a valid GTIN is saved.
If you have a large catalog, use Import Catalog to upload a CSV file and add hundreds of products at once. See Product Catalog for the required format.

Step 3 — Fill the Compliance Locker

Click into your product and open the Compliance Locker tab. This is where you store all the regulatory data that will appear on the public passport:
1

Material Composition

Add each fabric and its exact percentage (e.g. 80% Recycled Polyester, 20% Elastane). Total must equal 100%.
2

Chemical Safety

Declare your PFAS status and upload any laboratory fluorine test reports as PDF evidence.
3

Certifications

Attach any industry certifications (GOTS, GRS, OEKO-TEX, bluesign, RDS) with their certificate numbers and expiry dates.
4

Supply Chain

Map your supplier facilities — from raw material sourcing through to final assembly — using the Supply Chain tab.
You don’t need to complete everything before publishing. Passr shows a Completeness Score on each product so you can prioritise the most important disclosures first.

Step 4 — Publish & Generate Your QR Code

Once you’re satisfied with the compliance data:
  1. Go to the product page and change its status from Draft → Published
  2. Navigate to QR Generator in the sidebar
  3. Select your product and choose a format:
    • SVG — for print production (hangtags, care labels, packaging)
    • PNG — for digital use
  4. Download and send to your print supplier
When a consumer scans the QR code, they’re taken to verify.passr.eu/01/{your-GTIN} — a clean, branded public passport page showing all your compliance disclosures.
Your Digital Product Passport is now live and scannable! 🎉
